NO blues
NO blues is the Arabicana band in which Anne-Maarten is singer and double bass player. The band started as a ON project and invented Arabicana, which is the combination of American roots music and Arabic traditional music. With three albums the acoustic band has establshed the contoures of of the new genre and NO blues has become one of the leading world music bands in the Netherlands being voted 'Best world music act 2009'.

Hills Blues Collective
The Hills Blues Collective is Hills playing the blues with friends. For different occasions Anne-Maarten takes different musicians to form a steady rollin', steamin'and thumpin' blues train. Theo Thumper is the main drumplayer in the rythme section. Virtuoso guitarplayer 'Little Steve' van der Nat is one of the freqeunt guests alongside Ben Bouman (MarbleTones), Marcel Scherpenzeel and Big Pete (ex-Strikes). The band mainly plays fifties style West Coast and Chicago blues with Hills on double bass and bass guitar. Or the boys go juke joint style with Hills on guitar playing some mean blues in the John Lee Hooker tradition.
